Rachel S. Bailey (Ray) is a Lecturer at the University of Maryland whose research investigates rhetorics of health and science policy. Ray hopes to advance student civic engagement as well as inclusive, equitable, and accessible healthcare within the United States and beyond through innovative and empathic communication skills development. Outside the classroom, Ray serves as editor of the PWH Connect Journal, the official publication of Professional Women in Healthcare. The leadership development organization is dedicated to creating a culturally inclusive healthcare industry.
